The free-trial-with-credit-card-required pattern is a dark pattern. The company knows that a percentage of people will forget to cancel and get charged anyway. It's how SaaS companies hit their numbers.
We don't do that.
What QuickBiz's free trial actually is
- 14 days, full access to every feature. Not a teaser tier. The full app.
- No credit card required to start. Sign up with email + password (or Google) in 2 minutes.
- No auto-charge at the end. Because there's no card on file. We can't charge what we don't have.
- No drip-campaign sales emails. One welcome email, one near-end reminder, then silence.
- Walk away with your data. Export everything to CSV at any time, including after the trial expires.
How signup works
- Go to quickbiz.pro/register
- Enter your email, set a password (or click "Sign in with Google")
- Confirm your country (defaults to Kuwait), currency (KWD), and language (Arabic or English)
- Done. You're inside QuickBiz. Start setting up your shop.
Total time: about 2 minutes. The trial clock starts when you create the account.
What happens during the 14 days
You have full access to:
- Add Sale, Add Purchase, multi-payment support
- Inventory management — add products, import via CSV, low-stock alerts
- Customer ledger and supplier ledger
- Expense tracking
- Daily / weekly / monthly P&L reports
- Thermal receipt printing (Bluetooth + LAN)
- A4 PDF invoicing + share via WhatsApp / email
- Arabic, English, and bilingual UI + receipts
- iOS app, Android app, web app — same login, all three
- Multi-device sync
The only "trial limitation" is the 14-day clock. Otherwise it's the full product.
What happens at the end of the 14 days
Two outcomes:
Outcome A — you subscribe
You like it, you keep using it. Subscribe to monthly or yearly via your account. Your shop data continues uninterrupted. Pricing is in KWD on quickbiz.pro/plans.
Outcome B — you don't subscribe
Your account moves to a paused state. You can still:
- View your existing data
- Export everything (sales, inventory, customers, suppliers) to CSV
You can't:
- Record new sales
- Add new products
You're not deleted. You can come back any time and subscribe to reactivate.
Why this approach
Three reasons we made the trial card-free:
1. We'd rather lose the sale than trap you
If QuickBiz isn't right for your shop, charging your card anyway doesn't make us a better product — it makes you a customer who'll churn within 2 months and warn five friends about the experience. The credit-card trap is a short-term revenue trick with long-term brand damage. We'd rather you say "no thanks" honestly and tell a friend "they didn't pressure me."
2. Small shops can't afford surprise charges
For a Kuwait small shop, an unexpected 25 KD card charge can be the difference between paying a supplier on time and not. Other industries can absorb a "free trial gotcha"; small businesses can't. So we just don't do it.
3. The product should sell itself, not the dark pattern
If QuickBiz is genuinely useful, you'll subscribe at the end of the trial because you want to keep using it. If it's not, charging your card doesn't make it useful. The product has to win on its own.
What we DO send you
Two emails during the trial, that's it:
- Welcome email at signup — login link, quick-start tips, support contact
- Reminder near day 12-13 — heads up that the trial ends in 1-2 days, with subscribe link
After the trial, if you don't subscribe, we stop. No "we miss you" emails. No "special discount just for you" emails. You wanted space, you get space.
Extending the trial
If you're genuinely evaluating QuickBiz against another POS and need more time to compare, message us via in-app help or quickbiz.pro/contact. We'll extend by another 7-14 days. One-time courtesy — we'd rather you make a confident decision than feel rushed into a subscription you regret.
What's NOT free
Honest about the boundary:
- Beyond 14 days, QuickBiz is a paid subscription. We're a small team and the cloud servers cost real money to run. The trial buys you time to decide; the subscription pays for the ongoing service.
- Thermal printers, barcode scanners, card terminals — physical hardware you buy from whatever local supplier you prefer. We don't sell hardware and we don't take a cut.
Try it yourself
Go to quickbiz.pro/register. 2 minutes. No card. Full access for 14 days.
